Sports is a crucial element in a student’s life, essebtial for their all-round development. We understand this at King’s College India and make sure that each student gets to dabble in a variety of sports, ranging from golf, basketball, table-tennis to skating, swimming and kho-kho. Students are guided by able teachers and are encouraged to achieve excellence in sports.

Sports Facilities

Sport is an essential part of the all-round development at King’s College, India. It provides the opportunity for engagement, responsibility, enjoyment and a sense of pride in achievement, regardless of scale or magnitude. The love of sport developed at school offers life-long benefits, often leading to a happier, healthier and more productive future. At King’s College India, we offer a range of team games and the chance to compete both within and against other schools. We give students as many opportunities to represent the school as much as possible at Under 9, Under 11 and Under 13 age levels.

Athletes of the Year

Name: Nimorika Sekhri

Sport: Swimming, Football

Nimorika Sekhri is an excellent sports-woman, whose talents were effectively on display during the annual inter-house Swimming Gala and the inter-house Football Tournament where she scored all five goals in a match that ended in a 5-0 win for her House.

Name: Ambika Dangi

Sport: Swimming

Another adept swimmer, Ambika Dangi was unstoppable at the annual inter-house Swimming Gala. She greatly contributed to an impressive winning total for Windsor House.

Name: Antriksh Vats

Sport: Cricket

Antriksh Vats has added many feathers to his cap as a talented cricket player, such as ‘Best Bowler U-18’ in the LPS Bossard ISL Inter-School Cricket League held between 6th to 13th October 2019 as well as ‘Man of the Match’ in the inter-school competition with Aryan Public School.

Name: Jasraj Singh Dabas

Sport: Cricket

The captain of our school cricket team, Jasraj Singh Dabas was awarded the ‘Man of the Match’ in two of the school’s league matches.

Golf

Golf is now an integral part of our extra-curricular programme. Our aim is to develop and maximize the potential of junior male and female golfers in a world-class academic and sporting environment, preparing them with the necessary mental and physical skills to shine on the world golfing stage. Golf is a useful and popular sport for social and business networking. The quality of our co-curricular golf has led to many of our pupils improving their impediments dramatically and has also seen a rapid rise in the number of victories our golf team is achieving.

Basketball

The boarding and day school has an international standard outdoor basketball court where students practice during sports time.

We have a very popular Inter-House Basketball matches.

Football

We are blessed with a lush green football ground at King’s College India.

Football is also offered as an alternative core sport option.

All school teams are supported and guided by fully qualified coaches working to a relevant coaching program for the team and individual.
