King's College India

School Life

Overview

King’s College India has a student diversity spanning not only India but also countries across the world. Students travel a long way to experience this warm and friendly environment we foster. It is in the diversity that union is formed, everyone is able to learn from one another and grow together, this is what makes us into a community.

Each student forms part of one of our houses in which they get to mingle and spend some downtime together, relax and recharge giving way to a comforting homely feeling. We can assure you that students at the end of the day will not be calling King’s their school but their home.

Some students only attend during the Day whereas others live on campus. Whether they are one or the other, after spending and sharing so much time together daily, no wonder they all regard each other as family.

Weekly/ Full Boarding

Boarding is at the very heart of our institution. The residential campus environment ensures that students are immersed in a co-educational world where learning is central to all activities. It’s a unique setting that promotes common experience, camaraderie, friendship, trust and honesty between children and adults. This is much of what sets us apart from other schools.

The days are long, filled with fun activities, lessons and sport practices, there is no time for boredom at our school! Students are encouraged to be active and present throughout the day giving way to an environment filled with life, laughter and drive.

On the other hand, academically speaking, they arrive at college better prepared for academic rigor because they learned how to be responsible at Boarding School. Boarding Schools bestow on students an independence they would not have living at home. It’s an ideal preparation for the challenges and responsibilities of adult life.

Day Boarding

Day boarders benefit a great deal of what boarding has to offer; long days filled with a variety of activities and all the hustle and bustle that come with it shared with a close circle of friends, the only difference being that they do not spend the night.

Our day boarders are wholly integrated within the boarding set up along with all the benefits that it brings. All in all, they benefit from both worlds: the liveliness and active lifestyle of school and the comfort of their own homes at the end of the day and
