King’s College India takes guidance from its sister school, King’s College Taunton, a historic institution founded in 1880 by Reverend Nathaniel Woodard.
Woodard, a visionary educational pioneer, founded King’s College Taunton as his fifth school. Woodard’s educational philosophy aligned with King Alfred’s belief in the transformational potential of learning, as expressed in his ambitions.
King’s College Taunton has prospered for more than 140 years, responding to the changing needs of education and society. King’s College Doha
For the past eight years, King’s College Doha (KCD) has created a nurturing school environment for families living and working in Qatar, with a focus on excellent teaching and effective learning.
KCD recently announced the launch of a second, new purpose-built school location with world-class facilities for students in Years 3 – 13. This will allow the existing Al Thumama site (just ten minutes away) to be transformed as the country’s sole purpose-built pre-prep school, providing a spectacular facility for Kindergarten through Year 2.
