Facilities
King’s College India is constructed within a 21 acre campus located in the outskirts of Rohtak away from the pollution of the city, surrounded only by green nature and fresh air. Moreover, it is an idyllic location as it just takes 90 minutes from school to New Delhi Airport. It is also well connected by road, rail and air.
The buildings are modern and functional making it easy to find your way around the school despiste it’s largerness.
It consists of a purpose-built campus with separate blocks for the students of Kindergarten, Primary and Senior levels. Each block features a number of facilities designed to meet the specific requirements of the students.
Libraries:
The school boasts of a well-stocked library with an impressive index of titles, covering fiction and non-fiction, periodicals, magazines, and newspapers. Students are encouraged to make full use of these facilities in order to inculcate a love for books and the habit of reading from an early age.
Information and Communication Technology (ICT):
The School has 2 main ICT labs and all computers are equipped with multimedia kits and interconnected nodes with internet facilities as well as free internet access. Technology is used to make teaching and learning meaningful and fun.
Science Laboratories:
To provide hands-on practical experience to our students, excellent equipment and facilities are provided in separate laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology
Art Room: This is perhaps one of the most beautiful and colourful rooms of the school. It is where the creative surge of the student finds expression in varying forms.
Subject Rooms:
The school has designated areas for various scholastic and non-scholastic activities which include well-equipped a Music room, Second Language rooms, etc. In fact, in honour of a love for music and art, we have our own music studio equipped with all kinds of good quality musical instruments for students to practice.
Kindergarten Activity Rooms:
These are the most spacious and decorated rooms of the school, designed specifically for small children so that they have enough space to run around and are provided with a wide variety of resources aimed at stimulating their interest.
The Blackbox:
In this room the magic of art and performance happens. In fact, it is quite multi-purpose as it provides an ideal space for school events, stage productions, and Inter-School activities.
Sports facilities:
Thanks to its large campus size, the school is able to offer a high range of different sports both outdoors and indoors along with the appropriate equipment for each. Some of the main sports practiced in our school are football, basketball, cricket, swimming, roller skating, golf, etc.
Canteen:
The school offers 6 meals a day including three main healthy meals and snacks. Strict hygiene standards are maintained at all times and students are encouraged to develop healthy eating habits.
Infirmary:
The school has a well equipped health unit composed by two nurses who reside on campus and are on duty 24/7. The health and safety of our children are our priority.
