Safeguarding
At King’s College India, student safety is paramount. We implement stringent safeguarding measures, from personalised classroom guidelines to a reliable tracking system, ensuring the well-being of every learner, especially our youngest students.
Students remain on campus throughout the school day, with exceptions granted only upon written parental request to the Headmaster’s office before classes begin. Any student leaving campus must obtain a signed permission slip, with staff promptly notified of their absence.
Our policies align with Safer Recruitment Legislation, with all staff undergoing thorough background checks. Our security infrastructure includes CCTV surveillance, fire alarms, and regular safety drills covering fire, lockdowns, and emergency procedures.
Beyond physical safety, we champion diversity and tolerance, actively combating extremism through education. Our Safe Use of the Internet Policy ensures students develop responsible digital habits, with guidance on staying safe online.
Our Designated Safeguarding Leads are always available to address concerns and support families, ensuring our students thrive in a secure, nurturing environment.
